Dovid was born and raised right here in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens where he currently resides with his wife and five children.

Dovid attended Lander College of Arts and Science/ Touro College where he worked in the Organic Chemistry Lab as a tech and teaching assistant ultimately graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Psychology and minor in Biology. As an undergraduate, Dovid participated in research, publishing articles in the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology.

Dovid went on to earn his degree as a Physician Assistant from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as a PA for nearly half a decade in both adult and pediatric Emergency Departments of New York Presbyterian Queens and Queens Hospital Center. Dovid holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Adult Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. His medical knowledge, care, and compassion for his patients makes him stand out among his colleagues in the hospital and has earned him several certificates of recognition and achievement.

When not at work, Dovid can be found riding bikes with his children through the alleys of Kew Gardens Hills, mowing his lawn, or trekking through the remote forests of upstate New York fishing for Bass or Pickerel.
